A note about our team… we did some work on the guest house and a bit of demo on the main house while we were still lucky enough to live in our old house in Braintree. Now we are living in the guest house and working on the main house. While price is important, and quality of work is essential, it is also important to know that these folks are around our home and our kids. Chris Rand and his team have been here in the rain, sleet, snow and on gorgeous sunny days doing great work and keeping us on schedule. Whether replacing all 102 windows (!), helping us layout the coffered ceiling in our kitchen, or shingling the exterior of the house, these guys can do it all – and do it well. They’re good people. We had them with us for about two weeks and in that time they took down walls, tore out ceilings, and left all of the gorgeous moldings and built-ins in-tact to preserve the character of all of the best rooms.

Tim and Stanley are the kings of air! The whole team showed up reliably and consistently and did great work with a quickness. A household name in Braintree, Dave and his son initially came to help us reframe the roof of the carriage house JUST before it collapsed! And then came back to save us when we unexpectedly had to demolish and rebuild the kitchen/master section of the house (details!). Rain, sleet, snow – nothing kept them from showing up – they did another great job for us and we’re looking forward to having them back when we frame out the interior of the carriage house during phase 3!
